คณาจารย์และนักศึกษาเภสัชศาสตร์ ชั้นปีที่ 6 จาก University of Utah ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ศึกษาดูงานด้านการผลิตและให้บริการยาสมุนไพรมาตรฐาน ณ โรงพยาบาลแม่ใจ
คณะเภสัชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ได้นำคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาเภสัชศาสตร์ ชั้นปีที่ 6 จาก University of Utah ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ภายใต้โครงการฝึกปฏิบัติงานวิชาชีพเภสัชกรรมด้านสุขภาพโลก (Global Health Pharmacy Clerkship) แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ด้านการผลิตและให้บริการยาสมุนไพรมาตรฐาน ณ โรงพยาบาลแม่ใจ ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ต้นแบบในการพัฒนาการผลิตยาสมุนไพรร่วมกับชุมชน เมื่อวันที่ 28 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2569 โดยนายแพทย์สัมฤทธิ์ ตันติวัฒนากุล ผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลแม่ใจ และทีมคณะผู้บริหารโรงพยาบาลแม่ใจ ได้ให้การต้อนรับ และนำเสนอบทบาทของเภสัชกร ด้านการการผลิตและให้บริการยาสมุนไพรมาตรฐาน และเยี่ยมชมโรงงานต้นแบบผลิตยาสมุนไพรคุณภาพ ที่ผ่านการรับรองมาตรฐาน WHO GMP
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวถือเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ ที่มุ่งส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้านเภสัชกรรมควบคู่กับการนำภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นมาใช้ การพัฒนาศักยภาพชุมชนในการปลูกและผลิตสมุนไพรที่มีคุณภาพและความปลอดภัยแบบครบวงจร โดยการแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ในครั้งนี้จะนำไปสู่การพัฒนางานเภสัชกรรมที่ดีขึ้น และสะท้อนบทบาทของคณะเภสัชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ในการขับเคลื่อนการศึกษาและสุขภาพอย่างยั่งยืนในระดับสากล
The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Phayao, hosted faculty members and sixth-year pharmacy students from the University of Utah, United States, under the Global Health Pharmacy Clerkship program, for an exchange of experiences in the production and provision of standardized herbal medicines at Mae Chai Hospital. Mae Chai Hospital has served as a model area for the community-based development of herbal medicine production.
The visit took place on January 28, 2026, and was warmly welcomed by Dr. Samrit Tantiwatthanakul, Director of Mae Chai Hospital, together with the hospital’s executive team. The program included presentations on the role of pharmacists in the production and delivery of standardized herbal medicines, as well as a visit to the pilot herbal medicine manufacturing facility, which has been certified to meet WHO Good Manufacturing Practice (WHO GMP) standards.
This activity forms part of an international academic collaboration aimed at enhancing pharmaceutical education while integrating local wisdom into practice. It also focuses on strengthening community capacity for the cultivation and production of high-quality, safe herbal medicines through a comprehensive approach. The exchange is expected to contribute to the further development of pharmaceutical practice and to reflect the role of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Phayao, in advancing sustainable education and health at the global level.
