On 30 April 2026, the School of Engineering, University of Phayao, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Erawin Thavorn, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Services, together with faculty members, researchers, and staff, warmly welcomed a study visit delegation from the Faculty of Science and Technology, Uttaradit Rajabhat University. The visit was organized on the occasion of participating in a knowledge exchange activity on “Innovative Planning” held at the EN1104 conference room of the School of Engineering.
This activity was conducted under the project titled Enhancing Experiential Learning in Applied Science for Undergraduate Students in the Bachelor of Science Program in Applied Science. The initiative represents a collaborative effort among Chiang Mai University, the University of Phayao, and Chiang Rai Rajabhat University, taking place from 29 April to 2 May 2026. The primary objective is to foster students’ competencies in analytical thinking, innovative thinking, and the practical application of knowledge in real-world contexts.
In addition, the visiting delegation was given a guided tour of laboratory facilities and learning support spaces within the School of Engineering. These environments exemplify the provision of a learning ecosystem conducive to the development of students’ professional competencies. The program also featured an exchange of experiences in educational research and collaborative innovation development, which is expected to significantly contribute to the enhancement of educational quality and the strengthening of sustainable academic collaboration networks among the participating institutions.
