School of Business and Communication Arts Wins Two Awards at Show and Share UP KM 2026

8 September 2026 The School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyatip Kharuhayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Waranya Chaiyatarin, Vice Dean for Strategic Administration and Organizational Quality; Ms. Wongduen Sakboonruang, Acting Head of the Office; and staff members, received awards and participated in an exhibition at Show and Share UP KM 2026, organized by the Division of Human Resources, University of Phayao, at Phaya Ngam Mueang Auditorium, University of Phayao.

Show and Share UP KM 2026 serves as a mechanism for promoting collaborative learning among university personnel, enhancing professional capabilities and workplace skills, and encouraging the application of knowledge and practical experience to develop good practices. The project also aims to establish learning networks among university units, supporting the University of Phayao’s development as a strong Learning Organization while contributing to value creation and sustainable well-being for communities and society.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, with Mr. Somthop Leksing, Director of the Division of Human Resources, delivering the opening report. The event also featured a briefing on the assessment criteria for the BMI Challenge 2026 and Happy Workplace awards, delivered by Professor Dr. Samoe Thanoy, Vice President for Research and Innovation.

The event featured exhibitions showcasing outstanding works and activities from various units across the University of Phayao, providing opportunities to disseminate good practices and exchange knowledge derived from operational experiences. Featured activities included basic exercise and Sports Massage by the School of Science; mental health assessment by the Division of Student Affairs; the Samritthisuk Elderly Care Center project by the School of Public Health; and Carbon Sustainovation by the Center for Environment and Sustainable Management. The event also included the presentation of the BMI Challenge 2026, Happy Workplace, and Spatial Skills awards.

On this occasion, the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, received two awards, namely:

Second Runner-Up Award in the Category of Organizations with Positive Changes in Personnel Health, Group 1 (71 personnel or more) under the UP BMI Challenge 2026 project.

Outstanding Award in the Happy Brain Category under the UP Happy Workplace Challenge project.

These awards recognize the School’s efforts to promote personnel learning and quality of life alongside the development of a workplace environment conducive to well-being and participation. They also demonstrate the application of ideas and practical experiences to develop approaches that can be shared and further developed in collaboration with other units across the University.

The Show and Share UP KM 2026 project serves as an important platform for disseminating knowledge, promoting knowledge exchange, and strengthening collaboration among personnel across the University of Phayao. It focuses on building upon good practices derived from the experiences of individual units to achieve tangible and sustainable outcomes, while supporting the University’s continued development as a strong and sustainable Learning Organization.
