The event was organized by the University of Phayao Innovation and Technology Transfer Institute (UPITI) as a platform for showcasing the University’s research, knowledge, technologies, and innovations to the public. It also aimed to promote the utilization and further development of research outputs toward tangible economic and social value creation.

On this occasion, the School of Education presented “Kham Tai Creates Value,” a project implemented in Dok Kham Tai District, Phayao Province. Assistant Professor Dr. Kasidit Meephrom presented the project and shared knowledge with visitors at the exhibition. The project focuses on strengthening the capacity of local communities through the development of human capital and social capital, which serve as important mechanisms for driving grassroots economic development and sustainably improving the quality of life of people in the area.

In addition, the Student Association of the School of Education received funding under the “Spark UP Club: Inspiring Student Entrepreneurs at the University of Phayao 2026” project. The funding was presented by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, to support students in developing innovation and entrepreneurship skills through hands-on learning and practical experience. The initiative also encourages students to apply their knowledge to create tangible value and innovative solutions that generate meaningful benefits.

The School of Education’s participation in the exhibition reflects its commitment to translating research-based knowledge into practical applications that generate both social and economic value. It also supports the development of a venture pipeline a system for incubating and developing innovation-based entrepreneurs to strengthen the University’s University Holding Company. These efforts contribute to economic value creation, promote innovation learning among young people and communities, and lay an important foundation for advancing the University of Phayao and Phayao Province toward becoming a “Creative Innovation City” capable of achieving stable and sustainable growth in the future. The initiative is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
