On 10 September 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyatip Kharuhayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, attended the training session entitled “Science to Innovation: Transforming Materials and Health Technology Research into Real-World Impact” at the Active Learning Room, New Lecture Building, University of Phayao. The training was organized by the Division of Educational Services, University of Phayao, with the objective of enhancing knowledge and understanding while promoting collaborative networks among faculty members and researchers to advance research outcomes toward practical applications.
The training focused on strengthening the capacity of faculty members and researchers to connect knowledge and research findings in materials and health technology with the development and further advancement of innovations that respond to the needs of various sectors, including industry, medical services, and society. This approach supports the appropriate utilization of research findings and promotes tangible outcomes from research and innovation.
The activity featured a lecture entitled “Science to Innovation: Transforming Materials and Health Technology Research into Real-World Impact,” delivered by Dr. Saran Poshyachinda, Chair of the Board of the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT), who shared knowledge and approaches for translating research-based knowledge into innovation development. The session emphasized connecting research outcomes with the needs and practical applications of various sectors, enabling research to generate tangible impacts.
A key focus of the training was the importance of advancing research alongside consideration of pathways for practical utilization, as well as fostering collaboration and networks among faculty members, researchers, and relevant organizations.
