On 10 September 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyatip Kharuhayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Tharika Phonlok, Vice Dean, faculty members, staff, and students of the School of Business and Communication Arts, participated in the SHOW&SHARE 2026 CARBON SUSTAINOVATION, 4th Edition, held at Phaya Ngam Mueang Auditorium, University of Phayao. The event was organized by the Center for Environment and Sustainable Management, University of Phayao, to provide a platform for administrators, staff, and students to exchange knowledge and experiences on environmental and sustainability issues, while promoting participation in the University's efforts towards carbon neutrality.
The event featured “5 Missions”, designed to encourage participants to gain knowledge and engage in practical activities related to environmental conservation and reducing environmental impacts. Participants who successfully completed the missions received a “Nong Carbon Mystery Box” as a commemorative gift. The event also featured a panel discussion on the use of electric buses (EV buses) entitled “Every Time the Bus Arrives, the Queue Disappears”, which provided an opportunity to exchange views and explore approaches to promoting more orderly and efficient use of electric bus services.
Another key activity was the presentation of Best Practices in Organizational Carbon Footprint, featuring academic and support staff sharing approaches and experiences in reducing greenhouse gas emissions arising from organizational operations. On this occasion, Ajarn Burin Bandhawong, a lecturer in the Digital Marketing Program, School of Business and Communication Arts, shared his approaches and experiences related to environmental and sustainability initiatives.
In addition, BCA AMBASSADORS participated in sharing knowledge and experiences gained from the “Green Skill for Student via Learning Space” project. They also presented approaches for further applying and communicating the knowledge gained among students and staff, with the aim of encouraging participation in environmental initiatives and developing skills relevant to sustainable living and working practices.
The participation of the School of Business and Communication Arts in this event reflects its engagement in knowledge exchange and the promotion of environmental and sustainability practices. It also supports the application of knowledge at both individual and organizational levels, contributing to the University of Phayao's efforts to advance towards its goal of carbon neutrality in a tangible and sustainable manner.
