On September 16, 2026, the Division of Building and Facilities, University of Phayao, joined an alms-offering ceremony dedicated to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati, Krom Luang Rajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita, on the occasion of her 100th-day memorial rite. The delegation was led by Mr. Nattawut Somyarone, Assistant to the President, together with heads of units and personnel of the division. The ceremony, organized by the Lanna Art and Culture Center, University of Phayao, was held at the Multipurpose Hall, 1st Floor, President's Office Building, University of Phayao, to dedicate merit to Her Royal Highness and express profound gratitude for her benevolence.
The university was honored to have Associate Professor Dr. Supagorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, preside over the ceremony, together with the university's executives, personnel, and students, who attended in full solidarity. Eight Buddhist monks performed the religious rites, chanted prayers, and delivered a sermon of blessing. Participants then offered rice, dry food, meals, and the four requisites to the monks as alms, dedicating merit to Her Royal Highness and expressing heartfelt gratitude for her benevolence, while bringing auspiciousness to all who took part.
This ceremony provided an opportunity for the university's executives, personnel, and students to jointly engage in religious activities, express their loyalty, and convey their deep gratitude for Her Royal Highness's benevolence. It also served to promote morality, ethics, and unity within the university, while helping to carry forward the fine traditions and customs of Thai society for generations to come.
