On 13 September 2026, the Academic Affairs Division of the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, organized the “TOEIC Boost Camp” under the Academic Development Project for Students, under the theme “TOEIC: Know Before You Take the Test.” The activity was held at Phukamyao 2 (PKY2), Phukamyao Lecture Hall Building, University of Phayao. Dr. Kulthida Khammee, Lecturer in English, School of Liberal Arts, University of Phayao, served as the guest speaker.

The activity was organized to enhance students’ English language skills and prepare students of the School of Business and Communication Arts for English proficiency testing. It aimed to provide students with knowledge and understanding of the TOEIC test, while enabling them to plan their preparation effectively and apply the techniques introduced during the session to their test-taking.

During the camp, the speaker highlighted the importance of the TOEIC test and provided students with fundamental knowledge and an overview of the test format and structure, particularly for students approaching graduation. The session also covered test preparation strategies, study planning, practice techniques, and practical approaches to tackling different sections of the test, enabling students to prepare systematically.

In addition, students were given an opportunity to take a TOEIC practice test, allowing them to gain hands-on experience and become familiar with the test format and actual test-taking process. The practice session served as an integral part of their preparation for English proficiency testing.

The TOEIC Boost Camp provided students with fundamental knowledge of the TOEIC test, preparation strategies, and practical test-taking experience. The knowledge and experience gained from the activity can further support students in developing their English language skills and preparing for future English proficiency testing.
