School of Law, University of Phayao Hosts Drone Workshop to Equip Law Students with On-Site Fact-Finding Skills for Legal Applications

The School of Law, University of Phayao, organized a hands-on workshop titled "Drone Piloting for Fact-Finding in Areas with Legal Disputes" on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Raphiphattanasak Conference Room, School of Law, University of Phayao. The workshop drew strong interest from law students seeking to enhance their skills in utilizing modern technology for fact-finding and spatial evidence collection.

The event featured a team of expert guest speakers, including Asst. Prof. Kritsada Jaikaewti, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs; Mr. Chatnarong Chaiyamongkol, Librarian; and Mr. Panthasin Jenjai, General Administration Officer.

The curriculum covered both theoretical and practical training. It began with an overview of key legal provisions under the Air Navigation Act B.E. 2497 (1954) and its amendments, along with the proper procedures for drone registration and permit applications. Following the lectures, students engaged in hands-on flight sessions to master drone piloting techniques, aerial photography, and systematic spatial analysis.

This workshop successfully equipped students with knowledge of aviation law alongside practical drone piloting skills, preparing them to effectively integrate these tools into legal practice and public service initiatives in the future.
