Phachara Jailoka, Ph.D., lecturer in the Department of Mathematics program, School of Science, University of Phayao, recipient of the Research Fund for Academic Staff to Conduct Research Abroad 2026, under the project " Development of optimization algorithms based on fixed point methods for enriched nonexpansive mappings," arrived at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, on September 30, 2026, to carry out research under this funded project. 

On this occasion, Phachara Jailoka Ph.D., paid a visit to and presented a souvenir to Professor Vasile Berinde, a distinguished mathematician from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, who is listed among the Stanford World's Top 2% Scientists and has been recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher by Thomson Reuters/Clarivate. This meeting was held to express gratitude and to mark the beginning of academic collaboration for joint research throughout the research period. 

This international research visit by Phachara Jailoka Ph.D., is part of the effort to promote international academic collaboration and enhance the research capabilities of academic staff at the University of Phayao in the field of advanced mathematics. The opportunity to collaborate with a world-class researcher will greatly benefit the development of research and the creation of new knowledge in mathematics, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals on Quality Education (SDG4) and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG17).
