The Law Clinic of the School of Law, University of Phayao, is concerned about cyber threats. It has produced public awareness media to help people recognize call center scam gangs, with the aim of reducing the number of students and staff who fall victim to them. In collaboration with the Student Affairs Division, the Buildings and Grounds Division, and the Center for Environment and Sustainable Management, it is displaying the warning media on screens inside the university's electric buses.

Scammers continue to develop new methods of deception by telephone, commonly known as "call center gangs." The Law Clinic of the School of Law, University of Phayao, has received many complaints and has given legal consultations to many students. The most common scam involves criminals impersonating mobile network operator employees or police officers. They call victims and use intimidation to frighten them into transferring money. In some cases, students have been tricked into receiving money obtained through criminal activity, unknowingly becoming "mule accounts."

To prevent these problems and build immunity so that students do not become the next victims, the School of Law has produced public awareness media that teaches people to recognize scammers' tactics. It has also worked with the Student Affairs Division, the Buildings and Grounds Division, and the Center for Environment and Sustainable Management to display this media on screens inside the University of Phayao's electric buses (UP EV Bus).

Distributing the media through this channel aims to help students, staff, and other members of the public who use the electric buses to become aware of scammers' methods and tricks, learn how to protect themselves, and know where to seek help if they become victims and suffer damage. This serves as a social safeguard and contributes to the lasting well-being of the University of Phayao community.
