On 25th August 2023, School of Allied Health Sciences (AHS), University of Phayao (UP) arranged an event for professorial development planning with the title of “Manuscript preparation and evaluation; an aspect of honored reviewer”. The opening speech was given by Asst. Prof. Dr. Puttipong Poncumhak, Dean of AHS, in which Assoc. Prof.Dr. Sarawut Kampuan, an expert from Biomedical Engineering Institute, Chiang Mai University, curated the event. On this occasion, the criteria for assessing the quality of research manuscripts were discussed and narrated. The talk was organized by Asst. Prof. Dr. Supaporn Khamchun who ran the event and provided a speech for objectives and aims for the discussion. 

The talks were started by the inspiration and ambition to perform a research, funding acquisition tactics, how to write a high impact research article, publisher selection, process on submission of research study to journal, strategy to response to reviewer comments and suggestions.  Moreover, the school also invited Mr Apichart Sriwan, a staff from the personnel, to provide an understanding of professorial submissions, preparation of documents, and other related issues. The event was aimed to encourage academic staff to effectively submit for promotion on professorial positions.
