Strengthen What ‘s Weak; Research Workshop at AHS UP

          On 19^th March 2024, the School of Allied Health Sciences, University of Phayao (AHS UP) held a research workshop for the topic of “Statistical testing in Health Science Research; an Approach from Research to International Publications”. The event was honored by Assoc.Prof. Ratana Sapbamrer, Ph.D., Head of Department of Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, for being an instructor for the workshop. The venue was M2 Hotel Waterside, Phayao.  The scheme was run by Dr. Patchareeya Amput, Vice Dean of AHS UP in which a welcoming speech was given by Asst.Prof.Dr. Puttipong Poncumhak, AHS Dean.

Academic staff from all over AHS UP attended the workshop in which research design, statistical selections, and practices were introduced with matched examples from authentic research data.  Sophisticated statistical testing such as binary regression analysis, multiple regression analysis linear regression analysis and correlations were taught and explained throughout the practices.
