School of Engineering, University of Phayao, led by Associate Professor Dr. Nattapong Damrongwiriyanupap, Dean of the School of Engineering, was honored to receive the First Prize Plaque in Group 1 (for divisions/units with more than 80 staff members) under the UP DMS Awards 2025. The award was presented by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, during the University Executive Committee Meeting on September 24, 2025, at Borwon Rattanaprasit Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Office of the President.

Organized by the General Administration Division, University of Phayao, the UP DMS Awards aim to recognize departments that demonstrate outstanding achievements in implementing the University of Phayao Document Management System (UP DMS) to enhance efficiency in document management. The School of Engineering has excelled in reducing operational procedures, minimizing paper usage, and improving the speed and convenience of document transmission both within and beyond the School.

The UP DMS, first developed in 2021, represents a significant innovation in online document storage and management. It has played a pivotal role in modernizing workflows and enhancing the overall quality of work among university personnel. Moreover, the system aligns with the University of Phayao’s commitment to becoming a Green University by promoting sustainable resource management and fostering environmentally responsible practices.
