Patsanun Lawongyer (Pim), a Ph.D. student in Environmental Technology and Management, Faculty of Energy and Environment, University of Phayao, Thailand participated in a short-term research program at Hokkaido University, Japan, from November 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026. The research was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Kayo Ueda, with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sittichai Pimonsree from the University of Phayao, serving as her primary advisor. The program was supported by the King’s Doctoral Scholarship (KPSD) project.
During the three-month stay, Pim
gained valuable experience in atmospheric pollution health impact research in an international setting. Activities included seminars, data analysis, and knowledge exchange with researchers from various countries, enhancing her academic skills, English proficiency, and work discipline. This experience has become an important step forward in her development as a future researcher.
