On August 25, 2026, the School of Education, University of Phayao, conducted the Organizational Safety Promotion Activity for Fiscal Year 2026 under the project entitled “Driving Environmentally Sustainable Organizational Administration towards Carbon Neutrality.” The activity was held at the Bundit Meeting Room, School of Education, University of Phayao. The activity was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Natthawut Subphaso, Associate Dean for Student Quality Development and Professional Experience, who delivered the opening remarks. The event was attended by Ms. Methika Lertpathama, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Lifelong Learning Promotion, faculty members, office and division heads, support staff, student representatives of the School of Education, as well as housekeeping staff and security personnel. The School of Education was honored to welcome a team of disaster prevention and mitigation experts led by Mr. Wasan Saenjitt, Professional Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Officer from Mae Na Ruea Subdistrict Administrative Organization, who served as the guest speaker. The training focused on “Fire Theory and Appropriate Practices in Fire Emergencies.” The session provided participants with essential knowledge on fire prevention, emergency survival techniques, and appropriate responses to unexpected situations.
The activity aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge, understanding, and essential skills in fire prevention and suppression, while enhancing preparedness for emergency situations. Participants learned about fire drill and evacuation procedures, survival techniques during fire emergencies, compliance with emergency response plans, and the roles and responsibilities of individuals during an emergency. These skills are essential for ensuring that personnel can respond appropriately and evacuate the premises quickly, safely, and efficiently when an emergency occurs. The activity reflects the School of Education’s commitment to creating a safe and resilient working environment while promoting sustainable organizational development. It also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
