The School of Engineering University of Phayao, represented by Associate Professor Dr. Nattapong Damrongwiriyanupap, Dean of the School of Engineering, received three first-prize awards from University of Phayao initiatives during the 179th Meeting (18/2026) of the University of Phayao Administrative Committee, held on 21 September 2026 at the Baworn Rattanaprasit Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Office of the President Building, University of Phayao. The event was organised by the General Administration Division, University of Phayao.
The awards were formally presented by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, as part of the University’s 16th Anniversary Celebration Project: “UPCC & UP Influencer.” The three first-prize awards comprised the following:
1. First Prize — UP DMS AWARD 2026 : The School of Engineering received the First Prize in the category for faculties/units with 80 personnel.
This award recognises the School’s systematic approach to digital information and document management, as well as the collective commitment of its personnel to advancing organisational operations through the adoption of digital technologies. The achievement reflects the School’s ongoing efforts to establish efficient, systematic, and technology-enabled administrative processes.
2. First Prize — UPCC RANKINGS 2026 : Thai-Language News Category
The School of Engineering received the First Prize in the Thai-Language News Category, with a total of 198 news articles. The achievement demonstrates the School’s capacity for effective institutional communication and public dissemination of its missions, academic and professional achievements, activities, and contributions to society. It also reflects the systematic efforts undertaken to communicate the School’s work and organisational activities to the public in a timely and accessible manner.
3. First Prize — UPCC RANKINGS 2026 : English-Language News Category
The School of Engineering also received the First Prize in the English-Language News Category, with a total of 145 news articles. This recognition highlights the School’s ability to communicate its achievements, academic activities, and institutional contributions to international audiences through high-quality English-language news content. It further reflects the School’s commitment to strengthening international communication and enhancing the global visibility of its academic and organisational endeavours.
Receiving three first-prize awards represents another significant achievement for the School of Engineering, University of Phayao, and reflects the collective efforts of its administrators, faculty members, staff, and students in continuously improving organisational processes, information management, and institutional communication.
The achievements also demonstrate the School’s commitment to developing systematic and effective organisational management, strengthening the communication and dissemination of knowledge and achievements, and continuously enhancing its operational processes in response to the evolving demands of the digital era.
