On 22 September 2026, the School of Engineering University of Phayao, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Apichat Buakla, Associate Dean for Administration and Special Affairs, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Erawin Thavorn, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Services, welcomed a delegation of administrators from Sawanananwittaya School, Sukhothai Province, who visited the School of Engineering, University of Phayao, for an educational study visit.

During the visit, the School of Engineering guided the delegation on a tour of its teaching and learning facilities, laboratories, and engineering practice buildings. The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to exchange insights into educational management, practice-based learning approaches, and the development of learners’ competencies in alignment with evolving educational contexts and the future demands of the workplace.

The exchange also aimed to promote the sharing of knowledge and educational experiences between institutions, while broadening perspectives on engineering education and innovative approaches to learning. The knowledge and insights gained from the visit may subsequently be adapted and applied to enhance educational management and enrich students’ learning experiences.

This visit marked another significant step towards strengthening the educational network and fostering continued collaboration between the School of Engineering, University of Phayao, and Sawanananwittaya School. The two institutions seek to jointly explore learning approaches and academic activities that will benefit students, while identifying opportunities to further develop and expand educational cooperation in the future.
